Ministry Report -September 2011
Don Shire Ministries September 2011

Dear Friends,

Thank you again for remembering Don Shire Ministries in your prayers and giving! Our Lord continues to watch over us. I recently arrived in Chicago to catch a flight to Haiti. I knew a hurricane was on the way. Not sure of what to do, I asked the Lord to make it clear if I should not go. After I checked in for my flight I was notified that the flight had been canceled and they could not get me to Haiti until the next afternoon. This was only a three day trip. I asked if my ticket could be refunded. It was 100% refunded! The next day all flights were canceled to Haiti because of the hurricane. This was my confirmation (like I really needed one!) Again, thanks for your prayers! I love serving my Father in heaven who goes before us!

We want to thank Mindy Martin for her 3 ½ years of loyal service in our office. With the coming birth of her 2nd child she has decided to dedicate herself full-time to raising her children. She will be missed (a lot!), but we understand her decision. Mindy, may God bless you in every way! Our ministry continues to grow which also means our need for help has also grown. We have hired 2 part time staff to fill the needs of accounting and office assistant. We will introduce you to them in the months to come.

Start planning for your mission trip in 2012! Below are dates I have scheduled. There might be more, but this is what is planned so far. Feel free to contact our office if you have any questions or would like to participate on any of these trips.
